Theme Hospital - Eeyore - 02-03-2013
Yes its a really old game but I have rediscovered it! It came in a pack of 5 games with our first computer (Command & Conquer, Theme Hospital, Fifa 97, PGA Tour 96 and Magic Carpet 2). C&C was obviously amazing but this thread is about Theme Hospital.
I wanted to show it to the gf so installed it off the aging disc and instantly fell in love all over again. The game unfortunately...
For those of you who dont know much about it check out this video...
And for those of you who want to play...
Its really blotchy on Windows 7 and everything due to the number of colours and high screen resolution BUT there is now an open source clone of it which ups the resolution and fixes all the problem with windows 7!
To Play!
First of all you need to download the original game or the demo which you can download here!
Then you need to go to the website below and download Version 0.11 unless there is a newer version. Itll all install and ask you where the game/demo is installed as it needs some resources from those files.

Download this file http://themehospital.co.uk/theme-hospital-download-windows-7/
Then copy all files into a HOSP file, then install CorsixTH for mac from original link and you should have the full game!

If you want to save yourself the hassle and just install the game without any dramas for Mac.

Our first pc came with loads of old skool games on like Doom and Hover and stuff! I do remember Theme hospital though, my sister was addicted to it!
I was more into Rollercoaster Tycoon, does anyone else remember that? And Age of Empires....
Oh and Destruction Derby 2 was epic
And Interstate 76?!
Could go on forever....

I found a copy online of rollercoaster tycoon 3 the other day. I only had rollercoaster tycoon 2 when younger but 3 has much improved graphics, although I had to run it through win 7 and not OSX
