hub bolt holes rung - rd070707 - 25-02-2013 my rear left hub has nearly all the holes rung and its hard to get any bolts to catch and tighten.should i just replace the whole hub or is there any other options? RE: hub bolt holes rung - Connor - 25-02-2013 Time for a new hub RE: hub bolt holes rung - C2K - 26-02-2013 Holes rung? Presuming you mean worn out. Hub is not too tricky to change at all. RE: hub bolt holes rung - darrenjlobb - 26-02-2013 You mean you have pulled all the threads out? Either way, just change the hub ![]() RE: hub bolt holes rung - C2K - 26-02-2013 (26-02-2013, 10:04 AM)darrenjlobb Wrote: You mean you have pulled all the threads out? I read it to mean the same as this. ![]() RE: hub bolt holes rung - rd070707 - 26-02-2013 Yeah guys sorry that's what I meant lol. Il get a new one then and I'm sure it'll not be hard to change, don't want the wheel falling off RE: hub bolt holes rung - puglove - 26-02-2013 Cheaper/easyer/quicker to just replace the whole hub. Wouldnt advice driving it if its that bad. It would take much to rip out whats left with no warning atall. Also check its not just the wheel nuts that are stripped rather than the hum. In my experience the bolt shreds the thread way before it pulls them out the hub RE: hub bolt holes rung - rd070707 - 10-03-2013 Alright guys got a new hub any advice on how to change it? |
