Bloody car - RJDubya - 18-02-2013

Something has started grinding while the car is running today, sounds the same as when the bearing went in the aux belt tensioner but i cant pinpoint what it is... Any pointers guys? The noise dies off if i put my foot on the clutch and gets louder when i go faster...

Clutch release bearing?

RE: Bloody car - RJDubya - 18-02-2013

Could be but it seems to be coming from the area of the belts, im thinking its another bearing on the aux belt (hoping)

Check the bottom pulley, a known weak point on 306's

Fair point, seems fairly trivial when that's pointed out... Sorry to hear about that David.
