Dump valve help - Cbray2003 - 09-02-2013
As it says need some help with my dump valve. I've got a baileys dump valve set up that's been on my last two d turbos and working great but blew my engine up a few months ago and since the new engine fitted it won't hold down the pressure under boost so had to lock it wright down so won't open at all and disconnect the pipe work.
Would it be the spring inside f**ked do won't hold pressure or not defo confussed me this time
If I shut the valve down so hardly opens at all it sort of works fine it releases but u can hardly hear it and doesn't let that much pressure out so help needed plzz

doubt youl find much info about dump valves on here mate, best way to fix it is to take it off

Take it off!!! Doesnt do anything just makes a stupid sound wind the boost up and hear the wastegate!

Ok did think about that anyway the novelty gone off abit now first think I did really when first had a turbo car lol
