Spike, it did that about a year ago... sent back and repaired for some exorbitant amount of coins.

They all do it mate aslong as it was reballed properly and copper shims and good quality thermal paste used it should be ok

I have a dv6 and did the copper shim/penny mod and that helped alot with overheating. Took a few attempts to get right though
