Newbie from Birmingham - Meridian - 02-02-2013
Morning, just bought my first ever peugeot at the age of 31. It will replace my old VW g o l f tdi 1996 which tragically died of old age and 282,000 miles of abuse.
I have just found a nice 306 HDI Meridian Estate 51 plate for sale by a lovely old boy from Erdington. He serviced it every 6,000 miles and it only has 99,000 on it. He wanted just £900 for it and its absolutely immaculate. Anyway I have bought it and my local Indy is changing the timing belt as its the first thing I do with any new car, just for my own peace of mind. £200 is not a massive outlay either.

No pics yet, its still with the garage having the timing belt as when they got the belt it was the wrong type? I'm away in Sunny Weston Super Mud at the moment and wont get to pick it up until weds.
