Is yours the free version or the full? Would you recommend it?

RE: Torque Pro (Android App) - lolsteve - 28-01-2013

I use it, the pro version can be found online for free if you look hard enough
Not alot of info comes off the hdi's it seems anyway

RE: Torque Pro (Android App) - Midnightclub - 28-01-2013

I used to get a fair bit of info on my hdi, the pro app is worth having IMO useful app indeed

RE: Torque Pro (Android App) - Eeyore - 28-01-2013

im still waiting for my blutooth adapter to be delivered. got a really short stubby one instead of the normal big box one so hopefully it will fit with the fuse box cover on!

Ill see if i can find the pro version for free in a bit.

RE: Torque Pro (Android App) - puggyhdi - 28-01-2013

I use it quite a bit on other cars as well as my own, bhp is quite accurate too if u get the weight of the car right and that, probs know everything about that app.

RE: Torque Pro (Android App) - Midnightclub - 28-01-2013

Just download blackmart alpha, then search torque pro, job done...

RE: Torque Pro (Android App) - Just Sean - 29-01-2013

How many of the features can you use? Ive got a scangauge2, would it be worth (free) getting the app?

RE: Torque Pro (Android App) - tbaxter08700 - 18-01-2015

Does anyone know how to test injectors on it ?

Torque Pro (Android App) - todd1983 - 18-01-2015

I have it, works well on my bmw, and mums 206......not used it on the gti6 yet

RE: Torque Pro (Android App) - j-n-88 - 19-01-2015

I heard these won't work on 6's?

RE: Torque Pro (Android App) - Midnightclub - 19-01-2015

I can confirm they don't work on a 6. Work on HDi's though

RE: Torque Pro (Android App) - Eeyore - 19-01-2015

These only work on HDIs.

RE: Torque Pro (Android App) - j-n-88 - 19-01-2015

Sucks. Bought the dongle thing before I found this out. Will just use it on my mondeo then

RE: Torque Pro (Android App) - r3k1355 - 19-01-2015

Works alrite on the various cars I've tried it on.

You've gotta be a complete pikey lady garden to try and rip it off tho, for fucks sake it's only a couple of quid.
Using dodgy app stores is the fastest way to get a virus on your phone, and to be honest you probably deserve it too.

RE: Torque Pro (Android App) - Midnightclub - 19-01-2015

Tell that to the eBay sellers putting a ripped copy on a disc for people who buy the dongle lol

RE: Torque Pro (Android App) - j-n-88 - 19-01-2015

For the sake of a few quid I'd rather pay for it. And the money they get for the app presumably funds who ever makes it and let's them be able to continue making it better.

RE: Torque Pro (Android App) - tbaxter08700 - 19-01-2015

Four shared app is the best and safest to get any app free.

Do they work on 307s petrol?

RE: Torque Pro (Android App) - Ruan - 19-01-2015

Works great on my V50 with the 2.0 16v HDi..

Does anyone know how to check injectors or find a misfire?

The only thing it will tell you is a fault code if thats what your after? Apart from that need proper stuff, pp2000 etc

RE: Torque Pro (Android App) - E_KEL95 - 28-01-2015

I'd the app downloaded at the time of mapping my car to check the maf readings as the map didn't work, the free version of it worked great for all the readings etc. I bought a blue tooth reader then to clear an airbag fault but it didn't pick it up unfortunately but for a few quid I wasn't bothered. Maybe the paid version would pick this up?

RE: Torque Pro (Android App) - r3k1355 - 28-01-2015

No the cheap bluetooth reads from eBay only do the engine management light.

Airbags, ABS and shit like that are different systems and need much more expensive kit to read and clear faults from.
If you've fixed the issue with the airbag sometimes disconnecting the battery overnight will clear the fault.

RE: Torque Pro (Android App) - todd1983 - 28-01-2015

I have the eBay obd and can clear air bag light on my bmw

Are you seriously still having problems? Have you actually checked any of the things you were repeatedly told to check about three years ago yet?

On a related note; i'll be getting one of these shortly, hoping it'll help me at work, will report back.

RE: Torque Pro (Android App) - tbaxter08700 - 30-01-2015

Different car....
