So the time has come to sell this, Ive bought yet another car, hate me for it.
Its a 306 SLDT with a 2.1TD (XUD11) out of a Citroen Xantia the project thread is here:

Cam belt and service done with engine swap at 129950 along with a new valeo clutch and bosch glow plugs
The Spec
2.1TD, unknown turbo, probably a standard replacement but not the original turbo, new Valeo clutch, HDi gearbox, 9mm Bosch pump that im told is gov modded and is almost maxed. wind up windows, central locking, immobiliser.

Exhaust made from pug 605 front pipe, shortened 306 hdi mid section and standard back box with the hanger re welded about 2" further back

Citroen berlingo 16" steel wheels
10mm spacers front 15mm rear
205/50R16 tyres, mainly Michelins with good tread
Meridian half leather interior (bar rear backrest)
Sony headunit with USB and bluetooth
Vibe black air 6x9s in rear shelf
206 HDi gear knob
ph3 bumper
ph2 grille
smoothed ph3 bonnet
rallye blanks
smoothed bonnet
The bad bits
On cold idle (about 1200 rpm) the exhaust front box vibrates off the bottom of the gearstick
Theres a little bit of rust on the rear door upper door seal mounts (you could probably cut it off and hammerite it then tiger seal the seals on)
Theres a dent on the front passenger wing (new wing supplied)
very occasionally the speedo will drop out while driving for 20 seconds to a minute, its done this about 4 times since the engine was fitted.
The paint on the bonnet smoothing is a poor colour match

GMAX 60mm lowering springs and shocks (will probably only lower 50mm as theyer for a GTi) £100
A 306 bosch and an 11mm transit bosch to build your own franken pump £100
The 14" swallows the car came on £30
If you want it even cheaper Im prepared to do a deal to keep the 16s and the stereo gear.

I've seen and been in this car and have got to say the instal is very very tidy and goes pretty well! Well worth the money.

i do love this car and i must say i went out with chris on its very first test drive (almost hit a dead badger like but yea) and it pulled like a train then keeping side by side with a stage 2 full torque hdi and that was before fine tuning. so would encourage anyone after a good clean example to buy this

Chris. The log book is filled out but id forgotten to send it off and theres no point doing it now as its for sale. Itll get registered when i send it off for the new keeper. The insurance company know its a 2.1.
Liam. No i dont have ph1 bits
Few more niggles to add.
- Theres a squeek from one of the brakes as the wheels go round, its not loud enough to hear with the windows up.
- I think the sunroof has a slight leak. When it rains the very front corners of the roof lining at the a pillars get slightly damp (you wouldnt notice unless you were eagle eyed)
- Theres no bonnet prop.
