Re: Project moonstone... wheels finally fitted! - kentiiboii - 08-01-2014

I haven't updated this for a long time.
So on the 13th I'd of owned this car for a year, and the mot is due soon. Thought the mot was due febuary so I thought I'd get it ready as it needed strut top, coil spring, washer bottle and door handle.
So after a year of owning the car I've finally started fitting the coil overs I had from my old car. Got one side done today will do other tomorrow when I have collected some drop links.

Gave up trying to find a door handle so I've taken one from the gti6. Was just going to quickly slap a bit of moonstone paint but turned out I had primer and lacquer so I'm doing it properly just finishing it off now.

Thought I'd check last mot for advisories to make sure they've all been sorted so it'll go through mot. Turns out the car is due for mot this Friday (good job I checked Undecided).

Some pictures from today to show how dirty she is.

Will upload pictures from fcs and tax later.

Re: Project moonstone... MOT booked for tomorrow! - kentiiboii - 12-01-2014

So fitted coilovers to car this week rear beam just needs lowering now.
Fitted new drivers door handle and changed my fog lights. :-)
All ready for mot which is booked tomorrow. Hopefully she'll be ok...

So she passed mot first time today. Needs ball joints for advisories and that's all. Happy days.

Only read through this, looks well. Engine bay tidy came up well too, noticed you have a battery cover? Did they all come with this?

Battery cover is from a gti6 but the ecu sits in different place to the diesel. So I had to cut it up.
