Had a read through this thread from start to present (and had a giggle at the banter lol)...nice work, car sounds brilliant, loud and purposeful rather than chav loud; love Diablo red too, and it's a '6...If only I could do 90 miles daily in a '6 and not have to fork out so much lol.

I'm envious at how shiny and clean your cars are, mines riddled with bumps and paint chips from previous owners. I've tried to fill them in myself but just ballsed it because I'm an amateur.

you have to remove the badge and weld a plate into the bonnet and get it as close as possible. Then skim very lightly with filler to smooth it out. if you do it craply with filler then itll crack instantly. Then youll need a respray. i picked up a smooth bonnet for £40 and a grille for £15. But the cost of painting it means its been in the shed for years. To debadge the grille you need to cut out the plastic from another grille and try to match it up over the hole. then its a case of using a small amount of filler again.

She got the colour coded rub strips and some crystals.
She's now got a sticky throttle cable... Becauseracecar.
I need to get some more little bits for her then Felt Spec here we come! Just in time for show season
