Sam of your bored come fix the rallye. Also take your engine Tongue

RE: China XS, Shed to shiner - samass - 13-07-2012

hmmm

maybe next weekend.

RE: China XS, Shed to shiner - Grant - 26-07-2012

About time I updates this really. Quite a bit has changed the last couple of weeks. The car ran out of tax, so I parked it up on the drive for a few weeks to molest it further.

Managed to fit the eccentric top mounts

Quite some hench camber happening:

Gonna send the spare rear beam I have, off to get cambered soon.

Then I had a mad moment and stripped the back of the car out and fitted bucket seats in pursuit of making a track car. Talk about sour of the moment....

Lol @ the ride height now with no weight in the back
[Image: 1b0a9d48.jpg]

Need to get in the back and give it a good clean with soapy water.

Harness bar going in after payday and I'm need to reprint the bonnet badge.

Still got new rear beam, solid mounts, '6 brakes, quick shift and ninja exhaust mod to fit...

Living for the 306 is going to inevitably see me living in a 306... Haha

Excuse the mass spelling mistakes, I'm not cometely special, just using my phone haha

RE: China XS, Shed to shiner - samass - 26-07-2012

LOL, rideheight! lol

you ordering ninja come payday?

RE: China XS, Shed to shiner - C.A.R. - 26-07-2012

Check out the leaves and shit under your scuttle panel!

Sort it out man! That will slow a track car down, extra weight and all that...

RE: China XS, Shed to shiner - Grant - 26-07-2012

The leaves are me composting, hence reducing my carbon footprint. Or some bollocks like that haha

And Sam, probably end of August I will be doing it, so paycheck after. Wanna see about multibuy discount? Pends when your thinking of doing it ninja

RE: China XS, Shed to shiner - samass - 26-07-2012

cool, ill look into it, and see what my funds are like. i might have to hold off till loan drops, but we can see. depends on how much overtime i can squeeze in ninja

RE: China XS, Shed to shiner - Grant - 31-07-2012

So not a lot to update really. Works been a bit manic leaving little time for the car.

Getting bits together for relocating the battery to the boot along with the power steering and washer bottle.

Also made a start on tidying up my '6 brakes, ready for fitting

And in completely un-related news, couldn't help but lol at my current customers number plate. Lad!

Not fitted yet as I need to move the battery out of the way, move my many horns out of the way and sort out manifold an temperature related issues on both the inny and outy.

More than likely to be next month as dollar is thin arse to mouth

RE: China XS, Shed to shiner - Grant - 02-09-2012

Such an epic weekend.

Had Scott, Adam, Matt, Niall, Sam, Ed, Kim and Maz over for a BBQ sat eve. Hilarious evening full of too much punching to the groin, and general trolling. Also Matt, in his half cut state telling my 16 year old sisters friend he was going to ra*e her and asking her what tent she lived in... ?!?!?! Joker

Sunday we managed to fit the new lowered beam to my car that wasnt cambered to high heaven, along with shocks that arent leaking, and solid beam mounts. All I can say is

OH MY f*cking GOD!!!!

It is mental the difference it has made to the handling. Just need to get a bit more weight over the back end and then I'm pretty much there...
Oh and fitted the 6 brakes. Passing judgement on them 'till theyve bedded in properly

Sitting a bit better now though

And adding to the Christmas tree of my dashboard with an ABS light due to a dodge sensor in the new beam

RE: China XS, Shed to shiner - Niall - 02-09-2012

such a epic weekend had. thread for photos in the meet photos section

RE: China XS, Shed to shiner - Ed Doe - 02-09-2012

Last night was friggin priceless!!!

Cheers for having us all over, had a really great evening, too many lols, and my nuts were killing for most of the night!!!

Which sensor on the rear beam is dicky? Mines been a bit temperamental, when It was on the Diablo it was faulty most of the year, then when I put it on the Astor it was faulty for a few miles, then the light went out, came back on last week, and has since gone out again...? WTF? lol!

RE: China XS, Shed to shiner - Scott - 02-09-2012

Glad to hear the new beam is good and has improved things, I know how much effort it was getting that on today. If you want a genuine ABS sensor I might be able to get one from Peugeot through a mate Smile

Thanks again for having us, had an epic weekend as always!

RE: China XS, Shed to shiner - Niall - 02-09-2012

no point in getting a genuine one. still need to get the rest of it out of the beam though!

RE: China XS, Shed to shiner - vlj - 03-09-2012

Looking really good now mate, need to give those wheels a clean though!

RE: China XS, Shed to shiner - samass - 03-09-2012

i can bear witness, that this sticks to the road like shit to blanket.
f*ck.

RE: China XS, Shed to shiner - Matt - 03-09-2012

Flol I'm really not that rapey!!!

Stealing that race Matt picture too Tongue

Also yeah thanks for having us mate, again apologise for my fully cut behaviour, I blame everyone but myself Tongue

Was a right laugh. Glad to see its made an improvement Big Grin

RE: China XS, Shed to shiner - Niall - 03-09-2012

tbh its epic. I seriously do think it handles better than eds car which im sure he wont be happy about considering the amount hes spent on suspension!
