Not much happening at the moment as im working on an XUD boat engine for someone, and busy at work, and also waiting for some bits for the motor to turn up anyway, Next job is really building the injection pump / getting that mounted up etc.

Hm,
Going to be working on this today, although not really anything to photograph / film as im just going to be building a pump for it.
On another note, the car has decided to start being a royal arse, ive been raping it as my daily all winter (not washed it since FCS last year) and its been 100% reliable at winter, havent popped the bonnet once.
But its all falling apart now, heater matrix has gone (ffs) and rear wheel is binding up like a sunt (ffs)
So just more jobs ive gotta get around to fixing, was hoping to pull the motor out at some point in next 2 weeks to start trial fitting the new block etc, so bit of a farse!

I didn't realise the heater matrix had gone???!!! All I knew was that the fans stopped providing heat at all one day! Happened to be jsut before that massive cold-snap in October too, and I had to take my brothers down to Somerset in it at minus 6 or something stupid!!

Bit of a boring update I'm afraid, ran out of bits to continue building new motor, so waiting on royal fail / other people on that front, so figured id pull the stock motor back out rather than do nothing, and might help spur me on a bit!
Dropped this XUD in to keep the car rolling, and since fitting it, havent popped the bonnet more than twice to top water up, never checked the oil once...XUD reliability FTW!

Random picture of a pump housing I started some work on the other night, but was as far as it got really, although do now have half a pump built, but waiting on a tap for a fitting that I dont have as my taps are all metric ones! epic fail!
