Lol like i said on whatsapp mate, don't think I've ever heard of anyone happy with their service or products!

RE: 205 dt sleeper, engine in :) - procta - 17-08-2014

are they joking or what?! how do they dare sell a product that is a quality failure! I d have been telling them are you taking the mick or what!

On a private road before any body asks

It's still more to give. Got a less restrictive air filter setup to go on and make a more free flowing back box.

Wastegate arm needs tightening as well. Only doing 31/2 psi at the moment

Clutch is slipping bad in that vid

RE: 205 dt sleeper, engine in :) - Piggy - 20-09-2014

I would have thought 31/32psi is at the limit of efficiency on the td04 buddy.

Get that clucth slip sorted and the fueling spot on and I be surprised if you would want/need more power!!! lol

I did have a Look If you had a thread but couldn't find it till now , looking good keep it up !

RE: 205 dt sleeper, engine in :) - Uberderv - 21-09-2014

Looks rapid even if the clutch is slipping Smile

RE: 205 dt sleeper, engine in :) - Piggy - 21-09-2014

Just watched those videos...thats bloody rapid!!!!

RE: 205 dt sleeper, engine in :) - Paul_13 - 21-09-2014

Cheers, it does half go well

RE: 205 dt sleeper, engine in :) - rryan - 25-09-2014

i still need to have a go in this paul.

Are you coming over at the weekend to help strip my estate

RE: 205 dt sleeper, engine in :) - Paul_13 - 08-11-2014

Bit of an update
had a boost leak from the slam panel wearing through the boost pipe.

fixed that that now.

Also I fitted some refurbished injectors. I'm very very happy with the results, literally no hunting at all when starting on veg from cold

RE: 205 dt sleeper, engine in :) - zx_volcane - 08-11-2014

This thing is absolutely rapid in those vids!

RE: 205 dt sleeper, engine in :) - Paul_13 - 08-11-2014

I just wonder how long I've actually had the the boost leak for .
might tighten the wastegate arm for MOAR boost

Thanks for the nice comments

This has been stripped and awaiting it's death, the sill was rotten through and the front panel was pretty gone as well.

This engine is destined for my gti now

Ah so your doing a procta now, a reshell! Shame about the rot, that's what seen mine off sadly, so a re shell was on the cards.

RE: 205 dt sleeper, engine in :) - Paul_13 - 18-04-2015

Not exactly, my gti has a 6 engine in and the HG has gone. I'm fed up of 6 engines now! It's about the 11th incarnation of the 6 engine in my gti

RE: 205 dt sleeper, engine in :) - procta - 18-04-2015

Christ 11 times you have built your engine! Id have pulled the plug on that one well before then, If this engine goes in this car, it goes.
