RE: 205 dt sleeper, engine in :) - Paul_13 - 13-08-2014 ..... RE: 205 dt sleeper, engine in :) - silverzx - 13-08-2014 How much was the rad? RE: 205 dt sleeper, engine in :) - Paul_13 - 13-08-2014 Done 200 miles on the engine soo far, running at around 30+ psi. Clutch is slipping at high rpm. It's still very driveable off boost and I swear my mpgz has gone up. Also Costco are selling veg oil at 64p/l bargain! If any one local needs any I may be able to get you some, obviously bulk orders not just 1 or 2. I could fit possibly 10 at a push (13-08-2014, 01:56 PM)silverzx Wrote: How much was the rad? £200 posted, felt like crying after I had ordered it. Mind you the local motor factors wanted 300 + vat RE: 205 dt sleeper, engine in :) - silverzx - 13-08-2014 (13-08-2014, 01:57 PM)Paul_13 Wrote: Done 200 miles on the engine soo far, running at around 30+ psi. RE: 205 dt sleeper, engine in :) - Paul_13 - 13-08-2014 I've got a gti rad lying about, but after a good think I opted for a dt rad. I didn't think the gti would cope RE: 205 dt sleeper, engine in :) - aggyj17 - 13-08-2014 £200 for the rad. There's someone selling them on ebay an uprated ally rads for the same price for a dturbo RE: 205 dt sleeper, engine in :) - silverzx - 13-08-2014 (13-08-2014, 02:29 PM)aggyj17 Wrote: £200 for the rad. Why not buy a bigger aftermarket rad for something else and "make it fit"? Look at this bad boy for £480. ![]() RE: 205 dt sleeper, engine in :) - aggyj17 - 13-08-2014 http://m.ebay.co.uk/itm/261242393778?nav=WATCHING_ACTIVE This is the one I'm watching RE: 205 dt sleeper, engine in :) - Paul_13 - 14-08-2014 Seems as though I owe cg an apology. Not good qc anyway! RE: 205 dt sleeper, engine in :) - Poodle - 17-08-2014 Standard CG tbh, don't know why the hell people keep buying them, they're beyond shit. Surprised that snail fits in there quite so neatly, good job! RE: 205 dt sleeper, engine in :) - Paul_13 - 17-08-2014 I didn't read up properly before ordering it really. Not impressed with the initial customer service I received, after a bit of moaning and speaking to some one else, I've managed to get a replacement. Thanks for the good words. Was a squeeze! |
