Sam's '98 XSi - Pugly - Matt - 11-05-2012 Looks sweet mate ![]() Re: Sam's '98 XSi - Pugly - Grant - 11-05-2012 You going for a polished metal manifold? That would look awesome! Re: Sam's '98 XSi - Pugly - samass - 11-05-2012 cheers guys. i dunno. hadn't originally, was gunna be smooth satin black... but i am a massive fan of shiny, i even spent about 6 hours polishing my safety knife for work.... i might have to decide when i get it all clean and smooth ready for priming... might be tempted to polish it, but i also really want it on the car............... also, gun gummed up my back box to stop that blowing, but theres still a bit of a leak from the cat to mid section. ill sort that when i chop out boxes and stuff ![]() Re: Sam's '98 XSi - Pugly - samass - 16-05-2012 been productive today, a lovely box from poodle turned up today while i was putting the door handles back on the 'rocco, and it contained top engine and g/box mount and some nice new springs ![]() so got on with it, and had the new mounts on in about two hours. pretty good going, didnt encounter any problems, and i tidied up some rusty bits in the bay too. couple of pics.. ![]() and then i had the genius idea of using some bumper care on the blacks under the bonnet... ![]() main noticeable difference is on the mani, and that'll be OUTTA THERRRE soon ![]() Sam's '98 XSi - Pugly - Matt - 16-05-2012 Looking good mate.
