Wrapped one side of the cars rub strips. Hopefully do the other side tomorrow and lacquer them so they last longer.

Not sure if should do the door handles and mirror trim if I got enough left.

So today i wrapped the hockey sticks and front grill bit. Also managed to split my crystals! And there gonna be pink!

I'm thinking with the loud mega bright colours you may get pulled alot, May for causing a distraction to other road user's? lol

This is an absolutely awesome project, not to my liking but you've put in some great work that just has to be appreciated. Anyway it's your car and who care about the haters anyway right!

So things started off ok at the weekend got the manky green bonnet prepped and into primer. You may think I'm made using oxide red primer. But I did some test pieces and it helps the paint stand out better.

So now I gotta start all over again!

But the pink looks pretty!

I've given up with paint at the moment as it's to wet. so I made my list etc of what needs doing. The biggest thing is the audio and car electrics need sorting so I'm doing that as my first job!

So today I turned my boot from this

I'm missing a photo of to of the sub and part of the audio build back in the boot, but will take it when it's stopped raining. Next job to do is make an amp rack and another housing for my third sub and then its fibre glass time! lol

I also need to do some more sound deadening. I'm hoping to have the main structure finished next weekend as I haven't got any time to work on it tomorrow or in the week.

Also some of the boot trim needs to be modified/ repaired as it cracked while removing it from the car and I'm going to get the parts dipped!

So I been busy today for a few hours till it got to cold and my back / hip was causing me to much pain.

This is how I left my boot build last week

Still need a lot of work but it's a start, figuring out where to place the amps next. Then where to route all the wiring etc.

Also I decided to liven up my strut braces. As I didn't have any paint I covered them in pink gaffa tape! Big Grin

Quick update!

As you may of guessed I'm a big fan of hello kitty so much so I have her tattooed on my arm lol anyways since the 306 has got lots of hello kitty themed stuff on it I thought I would add to it with these! There going on the parcel shelf Big Grin

Will also be working on rest of boot build tomorrow this time will be focusing on were the amps are going and then figuring out the wiring.

Well I've made abit of progress on the boot build today. Mainly a lot of measuring and cutting so there's not much to see picture but there's one of where the amps will be.

There will be another amp on the left. But you get the picture. I will have more of it constructed at the weekend hopefully then it's into building the door cards! And testing everything!

So been doing more work on boot build today and made the boxes to house my amps.

They're rough at the moment but will be tidied up eventually. I was hoping to place them roughly where the amp is in the previous post but there's no room for them and it looks crap........ So there going up high lol!

I might even be building and extra bit for some speakers but not sure yet. Got to decide what happening. But it's getting there!

Did you buy that amp off Calvin? It's not I good idea to have amps in boxes the get quite hot, unless your gonna have some sort of cooling?
