RE: 30-60mph in 3rd times?? - Piggy - 26-10-2013 Checked out some stats... a Golf R32 does 30-70 in 5.9... happy days ![]() RE: 30-60mph in 3rd times?? - CJ_Derv - 01-11-2013 Thats petrol shite tho bud get that boost up ![]() RE: 30-60mph in 3rd times?? - Carlos182 - 01-11-2013 Why I'm putting this on here I have no idea A gti shouldn't be made to do this in 3rd gear, it's not fair, but here it is! On my private runway of course! RE: 30-60mph in 3rd times?? - silverzx - 02-11-2013 Are you supposed to do it in one gear (3rd in XUD case)? That's how most people do it, however it makes for a terrible time in a '6! 30-60mph in 3rd times?? - sherman306 - 06-11-2013 What sort of times where people getting in there standard d turbos ? RE: 30-60mph in 3rd times?? - SonnyRoby - 12-12-2013 30-70 run kind of. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y17AjJBPBHI&feature=youtu.be RE: 30-60mph in 3rd times?? - philpemberton94 - 21-04-2014 I just had a mate stop watch mine out of curiosity, timed 6.1 seconds, that running a lucas, which needs more fiddling, and t2 at 17 psi on a top mount cooler with a straight through zorst ![]() RE: 30-60mph in 3rd times?? - Piggy - 21-04-2014 (21-04-2014, 01:14 AM)philpemberton94 Wrote: I just had a mate stop watch mine out of curiosity, timed 6.1 seconds, that running a lucas, which needs more fiddling, and t2 at 17 psi on a top mount cooler with a straight through zorst Im not saying you're lying but I would be very surprised if that time is accurate! RE: 30-60mph in 3rd times?? - philpemberton94 - 21-04-2014 Thats just what he timed it at, may be a bit more, so i will have another look later! it is a pokey little car though, spins up in second in the dry.... RE: 30-60mph in 3rd times?? - Piggy - 21-04-2014 To be brutal, 17psi is only just above stock psi, and with a lucas, I would think its more like 9.1seconds unless you have stripped it bare?! RE: 30-60mph in 3rd times?? - Anton - 21-04-2014 Be lucky if its under 10 seconds tbh... RE: 30-60mph in 3rd times?? - philpemberton94 - 21-04-2014 No not stripped out! But like i said thats what he timed it at, so ill try again with someone else timing it haha, its definitely not 10 seconds though! ![]() RE: 30-60mph in 3rd times?? - Jimbo - 21-04-2014 I dont think anyone has cracked 130bhp on a lucas and those who were close were almost certainly running more psi. So as much as you think its "pokey" drive one with a modded bosch and a bigger turbo you'll never want a standard turbo again RE: 30-60mph in 3rd times?? - willJspears - 21-04-2014 i had my lucas tuned to 20psi, never timed a 30 to 70 run, but certainley wasnt under 8 - 9 seconds, well downhill maybe ![]() RE: 30-60mph in 3rd times?? - daveylennon93 - 22-04-2014 http://youtu.be/L95cyUVDABA Bosch pump screwed, Lda washer removed and turned to steeper side, Ko3 turbo standard Tmic RE: 30-60mph in 3rd times?? - Piggy - 22-04-2014 I make that 8seconds. not bad really....esp as its arse is draggin ![]() RE: 30-60mph in 3rd times?? - daveylennon93 - 22-04-2014 (22-04-2014, 09:19 PM)Piggy Wrote: I make that 8seconds. not bad really....esp as its arse is draggin Yeah stopwatched it a few times its around 7.5 to 8. Arse is draggin a bit alryt, in the middle of rebuilding another axle, when that goes on ill rise it up 10-20mm. ![]() When i get my 2.5 inch straight pipe on would you say that time will drop a bit? RE: 30-60mph in 3rd times?? - Piggy - 22-04-2014 not really, it should spool a little more mind...a little ko3 aint really going to see much improvement...2.5inch is crying for a bigger blower RE: 30-60mph in 3rd times?? - daveylennon93 - 22-04-2014 Ah at least it'l sound good with it anyway ![]() |
