RE: Yorkshire Rolling Road 13th October 12pm! Confirmed - Prism7guy - 13-10-2012

Mine got 182.5bhp 158lbs/ft.

Mods wise it's internally just a standard XU10J4RS to the best of my knowledge. Billet flywheel, ally crank pulley. A/C removed. Small forklift alternator. Pipercross viper induction kit. Decat, small cenre box and 3" magnex back box.

RE: Yorkshire Rolling Road 13th October 12pm! Confirmed - buzzbrightyear - 13-10-2012

thats a very smooth powerline, whats the story from the forklift alternator

RE: Yorkshire Rolling Road 13th October 12pm! Confirmed - Prism7guy - 13-10-2012

It's smaller and lighter than the normal one. lol

I suspect it gets majorly overworked though, and may kick out too much voltage as it gets red hot after a stint on a track, and i'm pretty sure its responsible for breaking numerous coilpacks, a crank sensor and blowing most of the heating elements in the heated windscreen. Sad

RE: Yorkshire Rolling Road 13th October 12pm! Confirmed - Rippthrough - 14-10-2012

lol

We have a lot of issues with heat and rpms with our alternators and they do some weird shit when they get too warm!

Also, fitting diesel parts, never again.

Karl to be fair yours might be underpowered but seems to hold it quite well once its in the top end of rev range

RE: Yorkshire Rolling Road 13th October 12pm! Confirmed - Mattcheese31 - 14-10-2012

Karl, looks like either gov mod isn't working right or you just simply need more fuel . .Smile

RE: Yorkshire Rolling Road 13th October 12pm! Confirmed - strictly_perv - 14-10-2012

I'd say it's a perfectly good figure for 20psi. It's only 8psi more than standard which is a 30BHP increase.
If you want more power you need more boost!

RE: Yorkshire Rolling Road 13th October 12pm! Confirmed - buzzbrightyear - 14-10-2012

I get you now Matt, just watched the video, way too much fuel. Fiddle with that waste gate and it should get up to 140bhp probably.
