Had too put it in gear aswell as it kept slowing dragging itself forward on the loose gravel lol bit of a brown trouser moment when your 25 yrds from your car and watch it start moving away while your trying too get a decent picture lol

RE: Matts Onyx Rallye project thread. Compomotive content.. - Matt-Rallye - 28-06-2014

Well last night i went too pick some friends up from a local barn dance, some pissed up farmer lad thought it would be a great idea too try and lift the back end of my rallye..

So now i have a creased and dented passenger side rear quarter panel. Pics dont make it look that bad but its alot worse in person Sad

If you can make it out, the whole darker area below the dummy filler cap is where its all been pushed in Sad

Great.

RE: Matts Onyx Rallye project thread. Compomotive content.. - ozonehostile - 28-06-2014

That's sucks so much dude Sad

You'd better be getting compensation for the damage!

And on the slightly lighter note, that is the most Herefordshire thing that's ever happened haha

Its a daily driver! Still doesnt change that people should just have some decency and respect for other peoples property!

RE: Matts Onyx Rallye project thread. Compomotive content.. - Matt-Rallye - 15-07-2014

Well...

Im sure everyone was aware at pugfest that i had slightly lost the love for the rallye especially with my exhaust snapping on the way there!

Well tonight i regained some of the love. Dropped the exhaust off and welded it all back together and strenghtened it where it needed it. Basically it had split from being mounted badly. Still isnt 100% so will replace it when i find a mongoose for it.

Also did my best to pull out the dent. Again it isnt 100% but will do untill i get it resprayed next year.

Shall update with pics tomorrow Smile but the rallye love has definately returned!!

RE: Matts Onyx Rallye project thread. Compomotive content.. - ozonehostile - 16-07-2014

The exhaust hole was epic haha

RE: Matts Onyx Rallye project thread. Compomotive content.. - Matt-Rallye - 14-08-2014

Oh Hai...

Small update with no pics.. Now the rallye is officially off the road and i have rented a much bigger unit i will start stripping it down and refurbishig everything Smile Hopefully should be a good ground up / Bare shell rebuild.

Also i have sold the compomotives and will be sticking with the white clones. Also in negotiations for some brembos currently Smile

Matt
