No a GTi is different, the S16 bottom end is vastly better than and GTi, But then the GTi head is better than the S16

Sensors are sensors and can be replaced easily, so wouldnt be an issue

I think that the head might actually fit...However, I had an Mi16 head on my S16 which was supposed to be better than the GTi-6 head. This is just what I've been told, not something I have investigated myself so don't hold me to that.
There are also issues with the ACAV in the S16 that you don't get with the GTi-6. Again though, I don't know much about that as I had ITBs on mine.

Scott I can understand why you bought the 406. The noise of a v6 is nice HOWEVER you are still a complete spastic for getting rid of the s16!
