Pompey Mark if you can pm jonny your number he'll ring you once back in the UK RE: Trailer required - France - Pompey306mark - 14-04-2013 I just call southern self drive and they said an estate would be to big for that flat bed. Happy to try and find something else to rent. RE: Trailer required - France - Toms306 - 14-04-2013 I was saying to my Dad about your situation last night, as I know he's done several road trips and mayve been able to help. Well, he didn't really have a cheap answer but he was saying about one of the roadtrips he did. Around sweeden (bottom to top and back down again) in a yellow mk2 escort Mexico. ![]() Anyway, long story short is he purchased worldwide roadside/recovery for just £12 lol, he ended up snapping a leaf spring on a pothole, they had to get the part from England as they didn't really have fords in sweeden so the cover paid for the leaf spring to be airlifted to sweeden, couriered up to the garage where his car was AND a brand new Volvo courtesy car for the rest of his holiday!! ![]() RE: Trailer required - France - Pompey306mark - 14-04-2013 Transporter hire just quoted £382, over the phone. Wow that's a fooking price!! RE: Trailer required - France - Pompey306mark - 14-04-2013 Mine is for two days, with enough miles to get there and back, and includes European cover, I doubt at that price your allowed out of the uk. RE: Trailer required - France - Jonny81191 - 14-04-2013 Jj if that is allowed in France it looks like the cheapest way. Ill have a good look tonight at all the options. RE: Trailer required - France - Pompey306mark - 14-04-2013 I doubt it will be, you need European insurance coverage and other stuff. Hope it all goes well in getting the car back, like I said before I am free Tuesday midday on. Two day driving and easy to get it back here. It's just the cost as always.
