I get told I'm well spoken and even been told I'm posh for Downham(local area).
Not entirely sure why, I swear a fair bit but I think it's because I enunciate and have a good vocabulary so regularly use large words.

I've never had a problem understanding Cornish accents, but I've been going down twice a year since I was a kid. Plus, I grew up with my mams family who are all Irish, and if you can understand a strong Mayo accent Cornish is easy...
