No one seems interested in my half leather. So willing to donate for my name to be on it. Smile also have other bits from my old hdi.

RE: The 306OC support wagon! - Scott - 17-02-2013

Jordan we may well be able to drive up your way at some point Smile I'll have a chat with Niall tomorrow and see what we can work out, as the the black and red would match the outside as well lol

Cheers mate but i think Jordan is closer and this really is a budget build so if i have to, would be cheaper to drive to him.
If you have any other parts you want rid of, would be great if they are any use! Smile

Well as I said I have all my old hdi.
But depending on if I scrap my dt. Then you can have anything from the engine.

RE: The 306OC support wagon! - Scott - 17-02-2013

Thanks man, if you do scrap it then various bits like the alternator would be great to have!

The 306OC support wagon! - kentiiboii - 17-02-2013

Should be making a decision soon. Waiting for a friend to give me what I want for it scrap.

RE: The 306OC support wagon! - Connor - 17-02-2013

I can donate my spannering skills if needed. And can I have a go in it at pugfest? Tongue

RE: The 306OC support wagon! - 1616six - 17-02-2013

I've got an almost brand new alternator (did 2k max) so I can help but il be honest I wouldn't wanna give it away as i paid £80 for it, I'd take £30 if you can't get hold of one. It's a HDI one.

RE: The 306OC support wagon! - Just Sean - 17-02-2013

Might be just a tad offensive say someone wants to borrow it or summat.

(17-02-2013, 09:00 PM)Niall Wrote: Alternatively, someone might be able to tell me if the PAS pump and alternator off of the DW8 will fit and work? Oh, also need a XUD loom.
The DW8 PAS and alternator will fit and the loom can be bastardised, theres only a couple of wires on it you need reverse, speedo, ignition live, oil pressure, starter solenoid and the alternator one. The temp sensor would help though but youll be able to bastardise the standard loom.

HDi box????

RE: The 306OC support wagon! - Scott - 17-02-2013

Thanks for the reminder there Chris, HDi box is definitely what we were looking for!

RE: The 306OC support wagon! - samass - 17-02-2013

Don't you mean 6 box and chronic boost?

RE: The 306OC support wagon! - Scott - 17-02-2013

Noooo, it's only insured up to 150BHP Smile

RE: The 306OC support wagon! - samass - 17-02-2013

"what do you means it 180 bhp? Nahh, nonsense, you can't get that sort of power out of these old mechanical diesels, they're rubbish"

/raywestdynooperator

RE: The 306OC support wagon! - Niall - 17-02-2013

chris, dont forget the dw8 that is currently in it is semi ecu controlled so using the current loom could be a pig. then again, it might not be lol.

6 box COULD be a option and i know where there is one but a HDi one would be perfect.
At the moment, i think the main priority is getting the engine in so really we need engine parts.

RE: The 306OC support wagon! - Scott - 17-02-2013

The engine needs fitting within the next 4 weeks Smile

RE: The 306OC support wagon! - bigcheez2k3 - 17-02-2013

Depends what you're going for though, from what I've read on here the DT box is better if you want to rag it, HDi box is better for economy.

RE: The 306OC support wagon! - Niall - 17-02-2013

think we need to talk to our host but 23rd/24th march? thats the first weekend im free unfortunately Sad

RE: The 306OC support wagon! - bigcheez2k3 - 17-02-2013

Oh and I'd be up for helping once my car is working again. Not sure what I can do but yeah lol
