Fair enough on the tyres, can't really comment on suspension as I don't know what it was like on your car. A few degrees of camber is perfectly legal though!

Vortexs now gone and rolling on clones for now, looks really odd to be honest but it's only for a few months or so, anyway I've got some 195/50 to go on tuesday and see if u can sort out the arches abit more

That's it now for a few months as I have to save 1200 to get the rear arches sorted and sprayed, wings, doors, smooth bonnet and grill and smooth boot, unless I buy some shine bits that'll be all for a while

wheel whores sticker will be coming off very soon!
had it on the ramp at work yesterday and I need brakes all round asap so the 4 pots might have to weight until November time as I want the gti in the body shop asap which should be the end of June time, hopefully ready for pugfest, so fingers crossed

Not really much of an update, but as most of you can remember I bought some very stupidly high lbs springs to make my car lower which worked but made the car really undrivable, however with the springs and myself ( if people have met me in person you'll understand) I broke my drivers seat
so bought a new one from colin and james at pug performance which was very pleased to find a very tidy looking one so wiped that in today, whilst the seat was put might as well cleaned and hoovered the interia! Dunno how but managed to cut myself with the hoover haha apart from that raised the car up another 10 mm and stiffened the front shocks going todo the rears tomorrow as I forgot my tool! No pictures as of yet but will get some up soonish.

Not much to update really, bought a few things for the gti, finally got some sleeve bolts for the backerbm top mounts, new nissens rad as mine has sprung a leak and new fan cowling so hopefully I'll have some working fans and also bought some new citreon alloys, haven't a clue what there off but do need a refurb and waiting for some 10 mmspacers to turn up ttomorrow
now ready for fcs

Well had a rough day today! As I felt pretty rough for the last 4 days and being ill of work, it kinda gets boring led in bed as there's only so much you can do, anyway as I wasn't aloud near customers today I had todo the odd jobs which was pretty cooshtey for a while then suddenly got boring, so rang the body shop to see what they were going todo about the rear arches? Wasn't happy to the reply in there words " it can either go to ways, panel beat it to there best then shave filler on it or go to a scrappy and cut out old ones and weld them in" hmm I'd rather get new ones and weld them in. So change of plan. So I'm going to just say it, in some people's eyes I'm going to ruin an astor but hey its my car haha
so it's a clash between fitment and time attack, so wide wheels, touring car splitter, canards, rear diffuser, over fenders and some mental wide wheels, them completely strip the interia then save for a crazy engine
