RE: Immobiliser - Jonny81191 - 25-09-2012

But that's not a bad idea.... Nicking the immob chip..

Immobiliser - kentiiboii - 25-09-2012

No it is a good idea trust Niall to be the one to think of it.

RE: Immobiliser - Toms306 - 25-09-2012

So if anyone's car isn't running all of a sudden..... It wasn't us Smile

RE: Immobiliser - Jonny81191 - 25-09-2012

RE: Immobiliser - Toms306 - 25-09-2012

It'd unlock, but not start....just like kents car lol.... Undecided

And no, I wouldn't laugh at all tbh, I just find it irritating when people mess with things that aren't thiers.

RE: Immobiliser - Jonny81191 - 25-09-2012

Allow me to be excited. Havnt been excited over my car for a while! If not I'm breaking it and getting a phase 1 dturbo.

RE: Immobiliser - Toms306 - 26-09-2012

Nah I learned to not get hopes up too early to avoid disappointment. If it works you can go mad..... Big Grin

Immobiliser - kentiiboii - 26-09-2012

Fail! Car still don't want to start! Anyone local that knows hdi's and have pp2000 want to come down and check it your more than welcome!

RE: Immobiliser - Poodle - 26-09-2012

Sorry to hear that Kent, my offer still stands mate, although i can't tell you if it'll do any good or not.

Or, in your case, find something else to moan about.

Immobiliser - kentiiboii - 26-09-2012

Think I'm giving up going to ring breakdown cover for home start see what they say!

RE: Immobiliser - C2K - 26-09-2012

I think you need to swap a few parts with a mates HDi like the rail pressure sensor, regulator, cam sensor etc. Not making a lot of sense - i trust you've retraced your steps?

Yeah steps have been retraced. Home recovery guy has been. First thing he plugged it in got egr and tried to tell me it's egr valve stopping it. To which i replied egr wouldn't stop it from starting as my old car was blocked and still ran perfect! Also the egr has been blocked off on the pug for months and if that was the cause it would of stopped months ago. I asked him if he thinks it could be a fueling problem he took pipe of filter housing and ended up covering my windscreen in diesel! Then we primed it up and he heared a hissing sound from the first Injector. So tomorrow got to check injector pipes are tight and new seals.

Immobiliser - kentiiboii - 26-09-2012

Think I'm going to be breaking this so if anyone wants anything. Also depending what I buy next. I may have 2 sets of aidels for sale. And my coil overs.

RE: Immobiliser - C2K - 26-09-2012

That's a shame, i'm sure it'll be something simple. Get it recovered to Mechanical Repairs in Leicester?

Immobiliser - kentiiboii - 26-09-2012

They'll only recover it to somewhere local dude. I've been thinking about a bora for a while so think I'm going to call its quits before i start loosing a lot more money save up for a while and buy a bora.

RE: Immobiliser - Toms306 - 26-09-2012

Ah that sucks mate, I did tell you not to get your hopes up lol. Undecided

Oh and don't buy a bora.Wink

RE: Immobiliser - Jonny81191 - 26-09-2012

Don't get a stupid VAG you'll regret it!

It WILL be something basic, you haven't touched anything.

Immobiliser - kentiiboii - 26-09-2012

I've spent too much on it people. Time to break even with it. Either buying a bora or a phase 1 dturbo to strip and track slag.

RE: Immobiliser - Jonny81191 - 26-09-2012

In that case.. How much for the whole car? I'll fix it and sell it back when your Borat breaks Tongue

Immobiliser - kentiiboii - 26-09-2012

No cos I can get more money breaking it. I've always liked boras. Going to buy a temp banger and go back to my takeaway job for a few weeks while I'm breaking pug to get some quick money. Save about a grand.

Immobiliser - ash240970 - 26-09-2012

I'm calling dibs on the beam but don't need the solid mounts as I have my own
