cold drinks anyone?

matts xsi euro project - Matt - 11-02-2012

Had some progress today Smile

Refilled my bonnet
Changed my thermostat over, changed coolant
And replaced fuel filter

Pleased with myself today,

Pulls a little better with new filter on Smile

Just need a new brown sensor to see if that fixes my fans issue.

To fit I have:

Gti Mani
Gti cat
New middle section
Nissens rad
Possible gti top hose
And then custom boot install.

Alot of this wont get fitted till spring though. As I need, exhaust fitting kit, gaskets, heat shields and bolts and all the little bits

All ands up lol

Re: matts xsi euro project - Foxy-jim - 11-02-2012

It does add up haha. Cant wait to see this soon!

Re: matts xsi euro project - Curt - 11-02-2012

Yeah you made some good progress today, we all did actually Smile. Well when I say all, we both changed 'stats and other bits, Ed ground down a bit of metal and hit it with a hammer...

matts xsi euro project - Matt - 11-02-2012

Haha although my stat wasn't the issue grrrrrr

Yes hahah ed:I might have made a flat spot.

Me:How could you make a flat spot you were using a dremmel?

Curt: I heard there was a hammer was used.

Me: ahhhh :face-palm:

Hahaha productive day Ftw!!!!

Is your car overheating Matt? Fans shouldn't really be kicking it when it's this cold!
