Re: NORFOLK: Norwich area, xmas/new year time? - Toms306 - 02-01-2012 Looks like 2 smaller meets may have been a better idea now then....seeing as Sams the only one from Suffolk anyway. I don't think Jimmy would go from Chelmsford to thetford either tbh Sam. Re: NORFOLK: Norwich area, xmas/new year time? - Eeyore - 02-01-2012 yep 7 on here and more from the other forums should result in a decent turn out :-) Re: NORFOLK: Norwich area, xmas/new year time? - declantg - 02-01-2012 Im from suffolk =/ Re: NORFOLK: Norwich area, xmas/new year time? - pistolpete - 02-01-2012 has ian been contacted ? Re: NORFOLK: Norwich area, xmas/new year time? - declantg - 03-01-2012 Was then going to ask the whole "When are we meeting" Also should have a female joining me for this meet ![]() But still not 100% so wont add her yet Re: NORFOLK: Norwich area, xmas/new year time? - Dan! - 03-01-2012 :O a female, with Declan? How have you managed this??!?! Chloroform? Sleeping tablets? ![]() Also, just text Rumsey, his car is working atm (shock, horror!) so he can get there, but he may be busy or poor so we'l have to see. Re: NORFOLK: Norwich area, xmas/new year time? - Dan! - 03-01-2012 Rightttt. Meeting here sound good? http://maps.google.co.uk/maps? Im looking at the fairly large open areas of grass etc, should be big enough for us lot? Then go for a drive on to The Saxon pub, which is about 4.5miles drive through the forest and a bit of B road, should be good ![]() The Saxons 'average meal' cost is £5.50, which after having a look around seems fairly cheap, and they say they have a decent sized car park. All happy with that? I guess meeting time would be best to be around 12? Then we can chat for an hour or so and get to the pub for lunch about 1.30pm? Re: NORFOLK: Norwich area, xmas/new year time? - Dan! - 03-01-2012 Okay bit of a fail. Just realised all of them little roads around the Lodge are completely restricted. When you try to go down them on street view this is what you end up looking at - clicky Although on the plus side thats a fairly nice big open 'layby', so how about we meet there instead? ![]() Re: NORFOLK: Norwich area, xmas/new year time? - Dan! - 03-01-2012 Right, one last change, promise ![]() Meeting here - Clicky Sound a bit better? Looks like its actually a car park ![]() Cool 8-) Re: NORFOLK: Norwich area, xmas/new year time? - Dan! - 03-01-2012 And while im busy talking to myself here, id also like to say the weather looks OK. Not great, but for the time of year its not bad. Should be around 7* and more importantly no rain! ![]() Re: NORFOLK: Norwich area, xmas/new year time? - Ian - 03-01-2012 Got your PM Dan. Ill be there. Who can i Convoy with? Re: NORFOLK: Norwich area, xmas/new year time? - Dan! - 03-01-2012 SRowell, I think he's the only other one coming from that direction?
