Is the earth for the ECU clean, think there's a couple of earth points on the chassis near it that rust.

Is it worth checking the connections in the main plug that goes to the engine loom?

I think that's where I'm getting my TPS errors, from corrosion on the pins.

All fixed...

Spent half the day farcing around with it...in the end just got pissed off and decided to just try swapping the HP pump..given it takes no time really just belt off / pump and belt back on, Had a used one kicking around, so swapped it over, turned the key..purrs like a kitten...So all of that over a HP pump... had already tried swapping the FPS, FPRS, 3rd piston cut off part, swapped injectors in the morning, swapped engine loom, but was just the pump.

Still dont really understand why, as pressure was up around 290bar at idle, and it drove with full power...just ran like a sack of crap...but seems to be spot on now...so will know for the future anyway.

Thanks for all the help!

Good to hear you sorted it.

Shouldn't it be 300bar at idle?

Well that's interesting........ People moan about the complexity of the electrics on the HDi's....and it turns out to be one of the few mechanical parts! lol

At least it's sorted now anyway!

Mine used to do that. It was the crank sensor.
