I need to re plumb the whole of the vacuum system to eliminate any leaks but im waiting on a new map with no swirl flaps, egr or air dossers so that I can just f*ck them off and rule them out as leaks.

just bin it and buy a 306....you knew from the minute you got the coupe home you missed the 306!!

Nah the 406 coupe is a far nicer place to be than The 306.
I owned my 306 for 5 years and took it as far as I could and did over 80k in it
The 406 coupe is just an all around nicer place to be, though I do own a200+ bhp v6 version

Its defo a nicer place to be, loving all the controls on the stalks. My diesel is heading towards 200bhp, its 170bhp ATM and god it can move when it wants to.
