The last escort cabby i saw was last year, and i think that might have been the last one left in sunderland.
the Renault 5s have gone now from sunderland, the ones i saw at croft were the 1st ones i saw for nearly 8 years!
The mk2 golfs still do pop up now and again, i tell you what is down the road from me is a Rover SD1 and its still on the road. When i asked a few years ago about it been rare, sight to see. The lads said they see plenty of them about, which sparked the conversation, some cars are rare sights in some parts of the uk.

You dont normally see any of them round here its all Range Rovers and Volvo XC90s .

Its not a car, but i dont see enough of them
I watched a guy build this on his drive for a few weeks. its been back in service for a month or so now, but he had the cab and bed off and all 4 corners in bits. Looks great, i want one!

I guess it's because we are abit behind, but I've actually seen a lot of old cars on the island. Mainly mk1 golfs, escorts, mk1 polos, seen a couple mk1 fiestas now (mate of mine owns one) there's even a few sierras about..

Saw an F40 tonight
Also got a giggle when I was on Sloane Street near Knightsbridge. It's where you'd spot supercars usually. There was a couple things but nothing overly exciting then a modded Corsa VXR
