aye...fingers even clean are super greasy.

parts cleaner unit wouldnt be a bad idea...but they do tend to recirculate the fluid...not much use for being grease free.

what sort of cost per small item are we talking??

no idea yet buddy, want to get the technique perfect first and invest in some new little bits of kit then try them out

I havnt done any for ages, did a load of machine parts for my dad then thats as far as it went, might dig the stuff out again soon...

As for temperature, the bits I did for a packaging machine has heated rollers for sealing plastic sachets, about 400 degrees on the element itself and no discoloured Chrome on the bits near it

a guy over on the AX owners club bought a full set of these kits, electrolytic cleaning kit, zinc plating (blue/yellow/green) and the chrome kit, absolutely fab kit, gonna be getting a cleaning kit myself, and maybe a zinc kit,

I can get the link if anyone's interested?
