Ever had a spark in your eye? Hollow needles aren't much fun in your eyeball!

Meh I will deal with that if it happens. Never had no problems with sparks from it before :p

I've had metal shrapnel lodged in my eye. Something not very fun about someone picking bits of metal
Out your eye with a pin while youre awake...

RE: Spikes chop shop - spike2002 - 09-12-2012

That's the thing it doesn't throw much if any metal shrapnel at all its not like a grinder when you have bits flying everywhere

Yeah to be fair my incident was with an angle grinder, didn't hurt to start with but 24h later a bit of steel had rusted in my eye, that was agony

Guys - before anyone starts jumping down spikes throat can I just say that its not the first time he'd used this reciprocating saw and knew that nothing gets thrown back from it. Had he of been using an angle grinder or anything else that we knew of that threw bits around he would of worn goggles. He's not a twat and doesn't need lecturing.

No, got some pics of the car somewhere but it's a complete shed anyway. I think the moulds are with a bloke in mexborough last I heard.

You got it a Diablo gti6 and a silver hdi all cut up and one the back of one van Wink

Spikes chop shop - ash240970 - 28-03-2013

And some other assorted panels and exhaust sections as well but the main lesson learned is to cut up the sections as small as possible as it makes loading and unloading much easier :0

RE: Spikes chop shop - 306Puggy - 28-03-2013

This is the strangest thing ever.

Spikes chop shop - ash240970 - 02-04-2013

Not half as strange as us having to pack it all in a van drive less than a mile down the road only to unload it all again
