Looks tidy though, nice work! RE: My HDi - Ricky - 01-02-2013 Are you not going to change the angle of the turbo? I would be worried about the bearings not getting an even coat of oil, and as said about the seals failing. Looks awesome though, very neat install. I would be worried about the bearings not getting an even coat of oil, and as said about the seals failing. we reckon the turbo should be okay at the angle it is at, and it makes installing the water and oil feed and returns alot easier and neater, thanks mate, now for the hardest part of all.. paying for it lol RE: My HDi - Adam Canning WSG - 12-02-2013 very sad to announce everyone, but this project seems like a complete failure and a dead end at that ![]() ![]() ![]() 50bhp.. i honestly didnt know these engines could put out that little power lol RE: My HDi - rickye - 12-02-2013 not good lad, all that work to end up being such a disappointment but, if ur selling the turbo, dibs on it ![]() RE: My HDi - rd070707 - 12-02-2013 so whats the explanation behind why the turbo was so bad? RE: My HDi - c.gerrard - 12-02-2013 That seems very odd. Did you not drive it to the dyno and notice a serious lack of power? How come you're blaming the turbo? RE: My HDi - puglove - 12-02-2013 Mate dont give up that easy, there must be a reason/fault behind this that can be sorted then you can go on a progress, chuck up a thread in the HDI section and seek some advice before you go ripping it apart, Hope you can find a solution buddy, dont give up ![]() RE: My HDi - Adam Canning WSG - 12-02-2013 Just stood in the garage for 4 hours and missed dinner so we could do tests on every aspect on the cars airflow to try and see what te problem was, and we came up with the maf sensor ballsing the whole thing up, reverted my turbo back to standard before we found out that was the problem, and very sad now lol, need to fix back brakes as they as siezed, car will be back of out garage for the weekend hopefully running standard turbo, as a result of starting a new job on monday, i need the car back and do not have enough time to put the td04 back in ![]() ![]() ![]() RE: My HDi - puglove - 12-02-2013 MTFU and keep it untill you get the chance to do it!
