I meant the maximum actual throw of the exterior arm on the pump (shown in pics 1). Not the max fuel screw.

If you can modify the pump to have a longer throw, then naturally the govnor will be stretched further, therefore removing the screw in pic1 would be an idea, however doing this together with a harsh govmod would be a bad idea because they are both absolute hard mods, and theres no buffer between your foot and intricate leverset then.

Standard setting max fuel screw?
Does all Peugeot 306 XRDT have the same standard setting on the max fuel screw?
ore is itt different settings on the max fuel screw , i notic also it is hard to order a new max fuel screw on Bosch hardware store ore other sellers but i finaly found a used max fuel screw.
