Bare in mind that the lynx one has the timing hole in it for the gti engines as they lock through the pulley rather than the flywheel. I am unsure if the 1.8 and the 2.0 xsi engine use the same method, if so without the timing hole they wont be of any use to the XU petrol guys.
They also wont fit the XUD blocks either as they pulley on those is flat backed.
