I've a makita corded drill and it has been decent so far. I prefer corded power tools just because they are less hassle and generally cheaper, particularly for hobbyist usage. I can certainly see how corded would not be ideal for a lot of professional use though.

The cordless are a lot more useful tbh, just pick it up and go where you need it, they're no hassle really, a battery will do 2-3 hours heavy use or 2-3 days light and charges in the time you've had a brew.
