RE: Punto 1.9jtd sporting - Iceman299 - 22-10-2016 Ok, so I managed to find this at a price too good to miss. 1 owner from new 1.8 zetec S. If anyone wants a decent 206 hdi, check the for sale section lol RE: Punto 1.9jtd sporting - welshpug - 22-10-2016 diesel? keep the 206! RE: Punto 1.9jtd sporting - Toms306 - 23-10-2016 Ah of course, you get a proper 'box with enough gears on the 1.8 instead of the crappy 5 speed on mine! ![]() That looks really nice tbh, tempted to look for the ZS kit in black lol.

Erm, mine only has 5 gears too Sits at 1750rpm @ 60mph which isn't too bad compared to the 206. Just needs a tyre and a radio code from ford as it recently had a new battery RE: Punto 1.9jtd sporting - fgrc76 - 23-10-2016 Try moneysavingexperts forum for the radio code, I'm sure the ford code thread is still on there RE: Punto 1.9jtd sporting - Toms306 - 23-10-2016 (23-10-2016, 06:17 PM)Iceman299 Wrote:(23-10-2016, 08:49 AM)Toms306 Wrote: Ah of course, you get a proper 'box with enough gears on the 1.8 instead of the crappy 5 speed on mine! It does!? Sure I'd read they were 6 speed same as the 2.0. I don't sit at 60 but 70 is over 2k in the 1.6.Not sure if Ford charge for the codes but if they do there's someone on here that might be able to help lol. You cant be complaining at that Tom when a 306 hdi sits at 2.4K at 70  RE: Punto 1.9jtd sporting - Toms306 - 23-10-2016 It's over 2k lol, I can't remember by how much! ![]() Certainly a lot more engine noise at speed than the 6 speed Golf or Vectra. Don't understand why you wouldn't fit a supposed eco engine with a 6 speed anyway.
RE: Punto 1.9jtd sporting - Seb_Ryan - 23-10-2016 Even my saab 95 auto sits quite low at 70! 2250 ish and thats a petrol lol Sent from my LG-H850 using Tapatalk RE: Punto 1.9jtd sporting - Iceman299 - 23-10-2016 (23-10-2016, 06:38 PM)MY95 Wrote:(23-10-2016, 06:36 PM)Toms306 Wrote:(23-10-2016, 06:17 PM)Iceman299 Wrote:(23-10-2016, 08:49 AM)Toms306 Wrote: Ah of course, you get a proper 'box with enough gears on the 1.8 instead of the crappy 5 speed on mine! Exactly why i'm selling the 206. At 70mph its at 2,100ish, same as my 330d 730d was 1,750rpm at 70mph, joy of having a 6th gear Regarding radio codes, it's the newer style stereo. All the forums with codes seem to be for the older version. Ford charge £23, which isn't too bad RE: Punto 1.9jtd sporting - JTaylor2005 - 23-10-2016 (09-10-2016, 07:20 PM)Iceman299 Wrote: Thanks for the advice folks! I'll steer clear then. RE: Punto 1.9jtd sporting - JTaylor2005 - 24-10-2016 In the tooling area in the machine hall to start with ![]() And congrats for getting it nice work. It wasn't long ago I was strolling round your old line to have a look. I started back in 2012 as an apprentice then became an IMT in machining. I don't have a black one nah. I have a medium blue one. Supprised I ain't seen you in the car park.
