Couple of sticker pics and gave the engine bay a quick once over (it was 0 degrees outside and it was horrible but its an ok-ish job for now!)

Re: Astor Grey Phase 3 XS - hbomb1905 - 09-02-2012

I know, they're the gardening edition ones. haha

Need covers for the battery and pas pump as well and might try and bodge something to cover the abs as well but ill leave all that faffing til it gets warmer out!

Re: Astor Grey Phase 3 XS - Niall - 09-02-2012

Tell ya what you need to do is get a proper manifold on there! The 1.8 ones are tiny lol.

Re: Astor Grey Phase 3 XS - hbomb1905 - 09-02-2012

Hmm I am tempted with how successful yours has been and i've finally got a job which is local so i'm not gonna need to use it for work so we shall see!! I need to start listing everything ive done and still want to do cos I constantly lose track haha

Re: Astor Grey Phase 3 XS - hbomb1905 - 09-02-2012

What difference has it made to yours in terms of performance and fuel economy?

Re: Astor Grey Phase 3 XS - Niall - 09-02-2012

Fuel economy hasn't changed at all and it sounds SOOO much better and revs a lot more freely.

Re: Astor Grey Phase 3 XS - hbomb1905 - 09-02-2012

Have you got any vids showing what it sounds like?

I'm impressed that it revs more freely considering its damn revvy anyway!

It's too loud for my liking but it does make a great sound. Going to longlife on Saturday to have a extra silencer put in so will see how it sounds then!

Re: Astor Grey Phase 3 XS - hbomb1905 - 09-02-2012

Good luck, i've attempted it before - lasted about 6 minutes (time it takes to jack up and remove the wheel) then I went for a fag and a cup of coffee. lolz

Re: Astor Grey Phase 3 XS - Foxy-jim - 09-02-2012
