Anyone had any dealings with plastic welders? Looking at purchasing one to smooth the bumpers, what to look for and what to avoid?

So the wheel fits and ive started to hack away the cowel pretty much made a template to make a smarter one when its all trimmed up then to set back the piece removed somehow to make it look tidy bit of a mash up of 306/206 cowel should do the job.
