Xsi horrendously down on power. - Matt - 20-04-2012

Lies

Re: Xsi horrendously down on power. - Ruan - 20-04-2012

Why not man up and DIY?

It's hardly difficult to take out a sump plug, put on a new washer, undo a filter and put it all back and fill it with oil?

Xsi horrendously down on power. - Matt - 20-04-2012

I know Tongue just cba, incase I do something wrong. I'll probably do it next week after work sometime. How long does it normally take for a sump to drain?

Xsi horrendously down on power. - Matt - 20-04-2012

Should I flush it with anything?

Re: Xsi horrendously down on power. - Ed Doe - 20-04-2012

Shit matt, thats friggin awful.

And go do it yourself you lazy sod! I'll help if you want though. tis a piece of piss to do, really!

It takes about 3mins for the sump to drain!

Re: Xsi horrendously down on power. - Ruan - 20-04-2012

Just crank it over and leave it run to drain out the last of the oil...

Re: Xsi horrendously down on power. - Ruan - 20-04-2012

Don't do what I said in the post above....

Like, REALLY, DON'T do that...

Re: Xsi horrendously down on power. - mark_airey - 20-04-2012

Matt Wrote:Should I flush it with anything?

Stick a hosepipe in the top once the oil has drained out and give it a wash out with water*, should do the trick

*probably not a good idea to do this either TBH

Xsi horrendously down on power. - Matt - 20-04-2012

Well if it only takes 3 mins I'll do it at work Sunday haha

I find petrol is good to use instead of oil too!

Re: Xsi horrendously down on power. - Ruan - 20-04-2012

Diesel gets oil off things really well, flush it out with diesel.

Xsi horrendously down on power. - Jonny b - 20-04-2012

I heard chucking some sand in the intake polishes and ports your head while you drive!!!

As above may not be the best idea lol

Xsi horrendously down on power. - Matt - 20-04-2012

I can't tell who's bein serious and who is taking the piss. Apart from jonny, everyone knows that's how you port and polish Wink

Re: Xsi horrendously down on power. - Ruan - 20-04-2012

I think every single one of these suggestions apart from - CHANGE YOUR OIL - are a pisstake...

Xsi horrendously down on power. - Jonny b - 20-04-2012
