At best it's a 197bhp engine, probably running abit less now anyway with the air filter right next to the hot exhaust. RE: 106 GTI 2.2 VTEC Wide Body RWD eBay - C.A.R. - 11-01-2015 Taking a good-handling FWD car and dumping a heavy engine and gearbox in the back is going to really upset the chassis - just see the phase 1 Clio V6 for example. I doubt this had anywhere near the same amount of chassis development either! It would be interesting to drive but I'd rather pump money into a turbo kit for the standard engine, minimal weight gain for lots more than standard power...
