RE: hub nut removal - Toms306 - 10-11-2014 I've never failed to remove a hub nut with it. And only once failed to remove a HDi crank pulley nut...but I couldn't remove that one with a bar either, no idea how it'd seized so badly! It's mains though, not battery! I specifically didn't want a battery one as my battery drill is useless lol. RE: hub nut removal - londondan86 - 10-11-2014 Sig update required I think. Team 35mm socket! Lol Who has the 27mm injector socket then? I do I do!!! ![]() 306 specialist tools ftw RE: hub nut removal - Toms306 - 10-11-2014 27mm socket? With the right engine you only need a 13mm... ![]() RE: hub nut removal - Mattcheese31 - 10-11-2014 (10-11-2014, 06:38 PM)londondan86 Wrote: Sig update required I think. I couldn't quite believe it, but for all the cars Tom has owned and all the cruel things he says about our lovely xud9te's, he's never owned one ![]() RE: hub nut removal - Toms306 - 10-11-2014 Its an internet forum...you're allowed opinions on things you've never owned/seen/heard of... ![]() You're right though, I haven't owned one, have test driven a couple (hence never buying one! ![]() ![]() RE: hub nut removal - londondan86 - 10-11-2014 Touché!!! But I wouldn't quite call a 13mm a specialist tool now! A 13.43mm that's required to remove the racoon filter on a 6. That's specialist! I know Matt but for Tom it's not "refined" enough  RE: hub nut removal - Mattcheese31 - 10-11-2014 Joking aside I don't know how anyone wouldn't enjoy a big blown xud or even a good stage 1 like my old one, great fun and you get to keep your clothes on ![]() RE: hub nut removal - Toms306 - 10-11-2014 That was my point...don't need to waste money on special tools with the right engine. ![]() (10-11-2014, 06:58 PM)Mattcheese31 Wrote: Joking aside I don't know how anyone wouldn't enjoy a big blown xud or even a good stage 1 like my old one, great fun and you get to keep your clothes on People have different preferences though... Like I can't think of an enjoyable activity without clothes on, but I'm sure you can. ![]() In all honesty, I wouldn't enjoy a big blown XUD, I'd constantly be worrying about rod's falling out or turbos exploding and the engine running away. I'm fully aware this won't be understood by none-worriers who can just 'enjoy' things lol.
