180 sounds good and I'm guessing that comes with a huge amount of torque ?

Yep! How much really depends what that particular clutch will hold. Some of them are getting on a bit now!!

I think I'll keep a look out for a 406 2.2 hdi then but they are pretty rare and I've been told to stay away from citroen because for the suspension

nothing wrong with citroen suspension, bloomin epic comfort machines that still handle well for their size.

I know the ride is epic but I hear they are pricey when it goes wrong
