It's really not bad, I can have two in the. Back and two in the front and still manage to not bottom out. Well tbf only time I do is in the spreed bump at the top of my road. But that's more of a mountain than a speed bump haha

Re: Police/tyre stretch lolz - kingy - 25-03-2012

mines not as low as yours and i carnt get 2 of my mats in the back without scrubbing. how is this. is it down to not having archers rolled and stiffer dampers?

Re: Police/tyre stretch lolz - Toms306 - 25-03-2012

Might have a broken beam kingy, the wheels lean in and scrub the liners.....

Re: Police/tyre stretch lolz - kingy - 25-03-2012

Please don't say that. It feels fine but I think the tyres do toe in slightly at the top. Is this how you tell if your beam is knacked. If not how do you tell.

Not safe at all, if it goes it will open up a wormhole under your car which will swallow you and your car Wink

On a serious note, yes it will be fine, will just keep going to it really breaks.

Matt you have almost the same setup as my old 306(s) in that I had 195s over a 7.5" rim. It barely stretches tbh.

The questionable safety comes about when you fit silly-wide wheels (I'm talking 8.5J upwards) onto (of all things) something like a FWD Golf. Then fit tyres which are simply much smaller than they need to be in width.

But the cool kids think it looks cool and I suppose spending money on new tyres once every 8 weeks does prevent them from buying lots of drugs.

It does look cool, and I do like my drugs.

f*ck yous.
