I had a ph1 xsi that I had the disc axle off and that didn't have a compensator

That would have had inline pressure limiters on the boot floor if it was non abs, or a proper load compensator with ABS.

you will need some form of rear brake pressure limiting, unless you like stopping backwards.

I have never had issues, 10k miles of motoring
Just look at a MOT brake test, there just isnt that much brake effort that goes through back wheels

I have never seen an MOT tester perform an emergency stop on the rollers. only progressive braking on MOT's

i did 30-40k and only had a problem once . . . once is enough, just be told will you ffs . .

The way mine brakes is scary tbh, makes it twitchy and not nice, no confidence in harsh braking whatsoever.
