ah its pretty simple really ...ariel on the roof change the ariel length with an swr meter and chat away !!!

The one im using is a magnetic mount and the cable runs through the tailgate seals ... Doesnt leak ... i just need to work out where to put the unit as there isnt a lot of spare room !. ok ill take some pics tomorrow in the light ... at the moment it looks a bit ropey as i have an old top protecting the roof but ill be getting some clear vinyl to protect the paint soon which will tidy it up ... and you can get different ariels as well some are only a foot long for close range stuff (about 3 miles) and others are about 5 foot for about a 10 mile range ...
