Bigger blower job jobed Wink

RE: S1 106 dturbo (sleeper) - Teddy - 01-04-2014

there is not much room thats the problem :/ dont no if a big blower will fit even if its gearbox mounted

Make up some pipes, put the turbo where the battery used to be in the bay.

then be like "omg there's so much room".

problem i can see it master cylinder is in the way to get a decent size down pipe from turbo if its mounted on gearbox

RE: S1 106 dturbo (sleeper) - Matt - 01-04-2014

That's why you bring the exhaust down the front of the engine bay and under the gearbox Wink

His sump is an inch off floor you wouldn't get a decent size pipe under it even if he lifted it chances are it would get ripped off in no time.

RE: S1 106 dturbo (sleeper) - Teddy - 02-04-2014

Yer like Chris said the sump sits very low on this ATM waiting to get some better springs

RE: S1 106 dturbo (sleeper) - welshpug - 02-04-2014

you don't need a big downpipe, its only a 1.9 diesel.

RE: S1 106 dturbo (sleeper) - Martin306 - 02-04-2014

Pretty sure I said to route the exhaust under the gearbox and not the sump, but nevermind Tongue

Just have it go out the side of the front bumper.

RE: S1 106 dturbo (sleeper) - Teddy - 02-04-2014

adds more to the sleeper effect! a battered or rotten car, you wouldn't expect it to move would you, you would think its on its last legs.

cracking sleeper there fella! just try and make the front end a little more OEM, ( try and hide the intercooler)
I have had some right fun with mine!
