So you've owned quite a few crap cars and can't really drive all that well without hitting things.

You should fit right in on this forum...

the new ones are just as terrible, with the pd engine with its crappy tandem pump wtf! is all that bout, so its a lift/high pressure in one... shit idea. also this... under the number 6 in the picture anyone know what that is.... its called an atmospheric ball and it keeps atmospheric pressure..... f*ck we live in atmospheric pressure why do they need to keep a stupid ball for it! GRRRR VW owners just never wanna admit there car is shit tho.

Code readers work fine on mine....as does the cheap version of vagcom.

Oh, and I always wondered what the f*ck that ball was.....still none the wiser.....it holds air!?

Btw, alteast PD engines came with ICs and a decent amount of power as standard.....unlike a 2 litre hdi with only 90 bhp  Pugs aren't perfect either. Wink

Jag FTW.

RE: Housemate's just bought a new car. - Norledge - 25-07-2012

It was lush. But sooooo slow and unsideways. And surprisingly impractical - There was more room in the rear seats in the poolow saloon!!

Still got twice than MPG the golf did.

My old mans swanning around in a knackered £600 XJ40 at the moment, it's a bit rough and does 20mpg but I could drive that to Cornwall and back and get out feeling fine!

RE: Housemate's just bought a new car. - Norledge - 25-07-2012

That was an XJ6 3.2 'port' edition.

Drove it back from weston and averaged 25, more like 16 around town, but still better than the Golf Tongue

The leather was soft, the ride was soft, it was nice, but just not me.
