matt... i dont see the problem in keeping this as a long term fix. i aint got the money to take it to a garage to get it looked at and im really pleased it worked so its gonna stay for a bit.

stevieg... will have to have a look in my haynes book to see what your on about but thanks for the advice and will be doing that.

just look for the plug on the A/C compressor and unplug it Smile

Can anyone post a pic of the compressor clutch thingy that needs pulling out as i dont even know what the compressor looks like lol :oops:

^^ just have a look along the belt route
Just follow where things go
Alternator power steering pump and ac should be there. Just work out which is which

Im gonna make myself look like a total twat here but i have no idea what the power steering pump, alternator etc etc look like :o so would no doubt know what an ac compressor clutch looks like lol

Follow the pipes from your power steering reservoir to fin the pas pump
The alternator is the one with thick electrical wires coming out connecting to the starter and battery
Ill see if i can get a pic

Will look like that. Follow the pipes to a smaller radiator right by your coolant radiator
