I'm thinking if sticking with silver looks cleaner for longer and a bit more professional looking. There's a lot of vans around here on husk fords specials and look tacky! Although smart set of banded steels could look good!

Tempting as Pete's looks sweet on the wellers how much we looking at?

Have you just clayed it, then rotary polished it? What pad/polish did you use to bring back a shine like that? Smile

Yup clayed then rotary on menzerna p2500 with menzerna white pad sealed then paste waxed

Well as some will see fitted some later partner berlingo p bushes for the mot. Which its still going to fail!

Also did this as well

Gutted the dpf kept the box as the popo round here are clueless and like to cause havoc for business vans thinking they have loads of spare money to waste!

£70 for the wellers? With 4 good 185/55/14 tyres

RE: The Berlingo Nad Work Horse.... - Jenkosowls - 24-08-2013

Mot time Tuesday and spotted this a couple of days ago.

One nice looking hole

Then Rippthrough had a poke he tends to do This on my cars!

I then cut it a bit....

Then edd welded it up

Need to make the drain hole bigger and then add another layer of underseal. Mot I think itl get caught out on crusty brake lines and a tyre

RE: The Berlingo Nad Work Horse.... - Rippthrough - 24-08-2013

I only poked it a little bit.

Nip not even an inkling of one! I'd just end up going balls out again and risking reliability. Which being self employed is a risk. Plus the fact most money ATM is invested back into the business.

I'm considering a 2nd car though

RE: The Berlingo Nad Work Horse.... - Jenkosowls - 30-08-2013

Minor updates got some pressed plates along with citroen number plate holders slowly but surely going in the right direction. Also upgraded the 501 bulbs around the car including front side lights and interior lights also the van passed it MOT!

You put boost compsator bosch on it? or just turned it up?

RE: The Berlingo Nad Work Horse.... - Jenkosowls - 25-10-2013

Been a while since I'v updated this just been busy running the buissiness. Vans been a little neglected but slowly still turning things round.

Drivers side has had a snack at some point and been bodged so started to reciting it then just got fed up and money priorities else where. So it's in primer ATM.

Bought some 306 seats of Sam barker on here fitted the drivers side and I'm not keen I'm 2 inches higher doesn't sound allot but you can tell a big difference.

Also had more vinyl put on to fill the space up and distract from the body work!

That looks load better not so much empty space

RE: The Berlingo Nad Work Horse.... - Jenkosowls - 27-12-2013

Being winter means I can do more work to the van while work is quiter.

Fitted the rest if the bulkhead not fully completely still some more supports to put in place. Made a massive difference the cab is quieter and gets warmer quicker.

[Image: C7654219-7854-4A68-AD57-17C3C2C10393_zpsehxfc5z2.jpg]

Also fully fitted ph3 306 seats
[Image: D09D929B-1040-472C-8FEC-81B3E7F64B82_zpsqijnvele.jpg]

Now main seem daft but fitted parking sensors it's quite tricky not having 360 viewing as you do in a car do reversing out of bays and drives ways is a risk. More so at night when the only 2 mirrors are useless. Only cost £20 too!

RE: The Berlingo Nad Work Horse.... - THE_Liam - 28-12-2013

Looking really good mate. Is it Bosched?

1. Fill van with veg oil
2. ???
3. Profit!

RE: The Berlingo Nad Work Horse.... - Kezzieboy - 29-12-2013

Looking good, apart from what appears to be comic sans on your signwriting :-S

RE: The Berlingo Nad Work Horse.... - Jenkosowls - 29-12-2013

Sign writing has been done in segoe print in bold although the yellow prestige has been highlited in black to much. No Bosch on here but I do have one!

RE: The Berlingo Nad Work Horse.... - THE_Liam - 30-12-2013

Do it! Veg oil is down to 75p a litre...

RE: The Berlingo Nad Work Horse.... - Jenkosowls - 04-02-2014

So worst kept secret! We now have and xud9te engine in! About a week after buying the van I bought a cheap engine of eBay complete engine out of a 405 for £65 a week I sold the Bosch that was on it for £110 as I'd already purchased a Bosch.

My original plan was just to bang a Bosch on and run it as a nad on veg cheap motoring. But as it needed a new cambelt water pump head gasket etc etc I just thought stick a Dt engine it.

Slowly collected a few bits over 9months I'v had it just waiting on the engine to let go. Eventually it did after un known reasons. But was time to drop it in.

So crummy dw8

Swooping diffs

All done
[Image: 46562481-F501-4641-8F36-800DEE801209_zpsykvqk6gg.jpg]

Best place for a nad in the skip!
[Image: E77C7311-0F5C-4A00-9DE4-C95B4F420663_zpsduw09hln.jpg]

Did it over 2 days had a few problems one being when I swamped the diffs for some strange reason the driveshafts wouldn't fit so pulled engine out again as it was only in place eventually sorted it then found out the 405 box wouldn't go in reverse!

So rather than stick the crummy nad box in I sourced an emergency box from a 306 to use. Sorted! Took a while to start up as I have no fuel grenade but it ran! Currently appears clutch is slipping, have a water leak from water pump slightly leaking sump. This is due to using a sealant 2 months ago that ideally needs heat to set. Instead it's gone brittle and failed. Other than that it's nice to be boôsting again!

Few things to sort out are

Reseal water pump
Reseal sump
Sort exhaust
New gear box seals
New clutch

RE: The Berlingo Nad-T Work Horse - Jenkosowls - 04-02-2014

As it stands it's a k14 with a Bosch. The Bosch I bought unknown but it does have a ground lda and fuel screw has been fiddled with. I'm wanting it to be standardish setup

RE: The Berlingo Nad-T Work Horse - Mattcheese31 - 04-02-2014
